The best of the laid-back KZN South Coast Vibe
Newly revamped and a roomy 61 m², Unit 201 feels like a private beach bungalow that just happens to sit inside a secure holiday complex.
A queen bed in the bedroom and two single trundle-style sofa beds in the lounge sleep four without crowding anyone’s space.
Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the open-plan lounge with Indian-Ocean blues, while a sleek full kitchen (stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, washer & dryer) and fast Wi-Fi make longer stays or sneaky “workations” effortless.
Step outside and you’re seconds away from soft sand, or stay in to enjoy the year-round pool, garden braai zone, kids’ play area and an
al-fresco dining nook.

Inside, the light, airy layout sleeps four (queen bed plus two single stack beds) and centres around a fully kitted kitchen—fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, coffee station, kettle and toaster—so breakfast is as easy as grabbing a loaf of bread and hitting “brew.”
Secure parking means you can ditch the car and wander barefoot: there’s literally just a lawn between you and Scottburgh’s swimming beach, and shops, cafés and the tidal pool are a flip-flop stroll away. When you’re not on the sand, cool off in the complex pool, fire up the communal braais and let the laid-back South Coast vibe do the rest.

Scottburgh is the South Coast’s sweet spot: the best swimming beach with warm Indian-Ocean swells, lifeguards, tidal pools and a grassy terrace for lazy picnics.
Just steps from the sand you’ll find surf schools, dolphin-watch boat rides, and world-class diving on the legendary Aliwal Shoal, while anglers cast from shoreline rocks or charter game-fishing trips offshore.
Beyond the beach, Scott Street’s cafés, restaurants, shops and vintage charity shops, add small-town charm, and nearby nature reserves, golf courses and croc farm keep every day fresh.
Add in easy airport shuttles, shopping mall minutes away and that laid-back holiday vibe, and it’s hard to beat Scottburgh as the best all-round base on KwaZulu-Natal’s South Coast

"What a memorable holiday!"
Maria - Airbnb
We spent 4 nights at Lorraine’s place and loved every second of it. The living room and bedroom windows have a fantastic view of the Indian Ocean. Facing east, the afternoon lights were very nice. The apartment is cozy, well equipped and clean. All essentials were provided.
Scottburgh beach is walking distance, so is Scotties Cafe in the Caravan Park, Enzo's pizzeria, grocery shopping, beach store.
Flexible check in & rapid response to communication are appreciated.
I can highly recommend Lorraine’s flat. Thank you.

"Exceptional Stay"
Yolandi - Airbnb
Stayed with kids. Was really a great place to stay with views out of all the windows. Had all the amenities we could need. Within walking distance from the beach and small shops, and bigger shops close by for a little drive as well. Lorraine was an excellent host and made us feel right at home.
A fantastic experience!"
